The Physics Education Research Conference (PERC) provides an opportunity for those in the field of physics education research and allied fields to share their research, obtain feedback, explore diverse perspectives and discuss issues relevant to the community.

Various session formats afford the opportunity for maximum interaction. The Physics Education Research (PER) Conference brought together researchers in how we teach physics and how it is learned. Student understanding of concepts, the efficacy of different pedagogical techniques, and the importance of student attitudes toward physics and knowledge were all discussed.

These Proceedings capture an important snapshot of the PER community, containing an. The Physics Education Research (PER) Conference brought together researchers in how we teach physics and how it is learned.

Student understanding of concepts, the efficacy of different pedagogical techniques, and the importance of student attitudes towards physics. The Gordon Research Conference on Physics Research and Education will be held in South Hadley, MA. Apply today to reserve your spot. As ofPERC Proceedings will be published as a volume in the American Institute of Physics (AIP) Conference Proceedings Series.

As in the past, all registered PERC participants will receive a copy. AIP will make additional copies available for purchase and will make the entire Proceedings available on.

Physics Education Research Conference 20/ J - J in Online- virtual Insights, Reflections, & Future Directions: Emergent Themes in the Evolving PER Community.

Tweets by PERC Join us as we explore emergent themes in PER as a scholarly endeavor and as a research community!. Bodin () defines physics education research as research about how we learn, teach, understand, and use physics.

Physics Education Research (PER) is the driving force to the way introductory physics is being taught in secondary schools, colleges, and universities (Andre´e Tiberghien, Jossem, & Barojas, ; Yeo & Treagust, ). Physics Education is the international journal for everyone involved with the teaching of physics in schools and colleges.

The articles reflect the needs and interests of secondary school teachers, teacher trainers and those involved with courses up to introductory undergraduate level. Education research is our focus. Welcome to PER-Central, a resource collection for physics education researchers. Here you may find articles, theses and dissertations, research groups, curricular material, and news and events of interest to the PER Community.
